The Day Everything Changed...Forever
One day something happened..and the world was changed Forever....People would never
be the same ....could never go on with their "old" ways of living.. but instead a new chance was given....a chance to live their life in a completely New way..
...It was forced upon them..and at first they
didn't know what to do... had too much grief and sorrow to deal with... but with time they grew stronger.. found a new peace and love in their hearts...
...and started living their lives again..with more love, respect,
unity and cooperation with each other..
A New world began.. a world where people worked together and loved each other...without anymore hatred and anger in their hearts!

HOMEFRONT SUPPORT NEEDED TO WIN BATTLE
With our country now at war, I would like to take time to honor
the men and women of this great nation who took up arms to create and forever protect, the freedom that the red, white and blue--Old Glory-- represents.
I proudly salute those in uniform but additionally, the mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters and children whose loved ones were killed or maimed in battle. The international definition of "combat
power" is "the number of personnel in unifom, the amount and type of equipment, plus the support of the nation."
Without support from the homefront, millions in uniform armed with
the best technology cannot win; thus, those Americans at home are as important to winning as any on the battlefield. They are citizen soldiers, as are our servicemen and women, whether on active duty or members of the
Reserve and National Guard---Americans of all skin tones, races and religions, with roots from every continent on earth.
And now, the civilians who have been killed or wounded by terrorists within the borders of the
United States---we must never forget them, for they, too, are indeed, Citizen Soldiers.

THE TV SCREEN
It was a Tuesday morning Autumn was creeping across the land I was casually watching TV With a cup of coffee in my hand.
Suddenly the program changed Terrible pictures now on the screen An airplane crashed into a WTC tower Was this Really what I'd seen??
Loud, Excited TV voices Now shouted through my room
The pictures of fire and smoke I saw All looked like Death and Doom.
Another plane came roaring in The other tower had been hit At last the truth had dawned on me, Terrorists! God, when would this Horror
quit?
My emotions were caught b'twixt First anger.....then deep grief I paced around my living room Still stunned.....in disbelief.
Who were these lousey Bastards Who had done this to my land
Who was the Master-Perpetrator How long had this been planned?
Then the Pentagon was blasted By another high-jacked plane The death toll continued mounting "Will someone Please explain!!"
Finally on that tragic morn A flight named Ninety-Three Contained a group of heroes Who were brave as they could be.
Knowing death was approaching Scott Beamer said..."Lets Roll"
The plane crashed in Pennsylvania Leaving just a big deep hole.
Then our President came on the screen Explaining what had been done He was so strong and steady America....United now, as ONE!
The TV now...is Always on God knows.....what I shall see I'm watching constantly...everyday CNN, FOX~NEWS, and MSNBC.
Sometimes the news is really dreadful Sometimes...it's very bad
We're after the Murdering-Terrorists They all are Bloody, Raving Mad!!
Now Palestinian suicide bombers Wrap explosives to their chest The other day a beautiful girl Strapped T-N-T across her breast.
It seems the World has all gone mad Sometimes I want to scream So I make new pages on this computer Or watch the TV screen.
I wonder now....what is coming next Will we be blasted into Cosmic Dust
But my only hope, as our money says It is ............."In GOD We Trust"!!!!!
