~ A Love Letter ~

To You

Time spent with you is really wonderful
We can talk about so very many things
We seem to have so much in common
Why is that?

You are like the other half of me,
That I have been searching for
Why did it take so long to find..."YOU"?

Your thoughts and my thoughts
Stream together on the same wave-length
What "soul-filled" words you write
They reach out to me with great intensity.

Isn't it amazing to you
How we like the same things
We feel the same way about
So many things, it's awesome.

I am so glad you found me
I am so very glad....I found YOU
Who says there is no such thing as
Destiny...Fate..Kismet?

Do you know, I look forward to each day
I think about you so much
This is new to me
I am not sure what to make of it?

Do you think of me...also
Do you look forward to our meetings
Do you ever miss me?

Do you ever picture us....somewhere
Maybe at the ocean shore
Maybe in a beautiful forest
Just being together enjoying life?

Watching a beautiful sunset...together
Walking in the rain....together
Walking through fall leaves in the woods
I do!

Last night I gazed up into the heavens
The constellation Gemini was so clear and bright
As I stared up, I saw your name
Spelled out in the stars.

You said you wanted to share your dreams
You said you wanted to share your secrets
It makes me happy you feel safe to do this.

Both our hearts have suffered
Both of us...have longed for that "right" one
To come into our lives.

I am so glad....you are my friend
I pray, this friendship
Never ends.

We both yearn to be needed
We both desire a true companion
Someone to make our lives complete.

Is that you....Is that me
Tell me......dear friend
What your heart feels?

I am not really very good
At writing romantic words and
Expressing my deep thoughts and feelings.

I hope these words can convey to you
The depth of my emotions even if
The proper words elude me.

You are my last thought at night and
My very first thought in the morning
What can I say...more than this!
