The Heart of America...is a REAL heart. It is the combined heart of its people. It is the hearts of all races that live here. It is the heart of the Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Greek Orthodox and all the other numerous faiths that live in this great land. |

It is the heart of the bluecollar worker, the executive, the butcher, baker and the candlestick maker. It resides in the heart of the poet, the musician, the movie producer, the janitor the actress, the rock star and bus driver, artist, pilot, the cook, waitress and the teacher. It lives in the heart of the schoolchild, the teenager, the young person just starting out in life. It lives in the brave hearts of the firefighters, rescueworkers and policemen! |

Since September 11, we have ALL had a chance to feel and see the great heart of this country. We have seen on television the firemen, rescueworkers and police officers, all working to a fevered pitch and exhaustion to try to find Someone....Anyone still alive in the rubble of the WTC, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania. Even the search dogs have worked until they dropped. (Talk about heart!!) |

When "Mad-Dogs" tried to kill......the "Heart of America", it has only served to make us stronger. On that day All our hearts.....joined into one huge beating heart which wept, sobbed and mourned together as a nation! The hearts of the fathers...turned toward their children and visa versa. Parents hugged their kids as never before. |

As time passes we still hold on to Hope but more than that.....we now have a new Faith, a new Strength. A New Heart!! This new heart is a Collective Heart. The collective heart says..."We are AMERICANS....we are mad as Hell and we aren't going to take it anymore!" We now have pulled together as a nation as never before. We all say..."the Madness & Wickedness of Terrorism WILL be stopped!" |

GOD......at this moment of DESTINY has given to us a Great leader, President George W. Bush. A President with a GREAT heart. He choose wisely, a brillant Cabinet. He has the support of the entire Congress. But more importantly, he has the support of "WE"....the people! John Steinbeck wrote in his great novel, "The Grapes of Wrath, "We are the people....we just keep going...... on." |

YES.....we will go on. We are not a people to quit! We are a people of great Determination and Resolve! That is how we got to be the great nation that we have become today. There is an old hymn that says.."We shall not be....we shall not be moved. Like a tree planted by the water, we shall not be moved!" We will not be moved except Forward. We are also like a Golden City placed on a high hill whose light now shines more brightly than ever before. Our beacon of Freedom still shines out into this World. We have heard the clarion call...to "Unite" and we have answered...YES! |

The Heart of America is ALL of us. The Heart of America beats strong & clear and......Together. We are ONE and we are going to stay.....that way! We will never walk alone again....for now we are forged together by Twisted Steel and Blinding Fire and the loss of over 6000 other hearts. |
