Her voice was lyrical to the ears of all men, possessing
A captivating quality of pure magic.
She was schooled in all the "Arts of Seduction"
As the Representation of "ISIS" on earth,
Cleopatra Represented LOVE itself....
What mere Earthly man could resist those Divine Charms.
Julius Caesar came to Egypt to settle "matters of state"
Cleopatra, then 17 yrs old, rolled out of a carpet at his feet
All History was changed in that moment....
That night...she became his Confidant and Lover.
His ambitions were equal to hers, a Lethal combination
They both dreamed of more lands to conquor,
More treasures to gather, more Kingdoms to rule
Because of her he now dreamed of becoming Emperor in Rome.

And to Caesar, she now gave a son named Caesarion
Cleopatras' claim to Caesar was now fixed, for he married her
And recognized his only son.....who would never live to grow up.
For Rome would have no Emperor, no Supreme Dictator
This was a Republic, such as it was and thus
On the "Ids of March" Great Caesar was murdered....
No Egyptian Queen was wanted in Rome either.
Fleeing to Alexandria she were not idle and as the years passed
She built up her Treasury and her Reputation
For now she was no young girl but a woman of Power and Might
Rome again comes calling......Enter Marc Antony.
Cleopatras Golden ship sails out to meet him at Tarsus
Seduction blows full the sails that carried her onward
Both had much to gain Politically from each other
Both lose their hearts and History turns another corner.
In him was found a Passion to match her own
Soon again fertility touches that sensuous body
Twins are now the Legacy of this union
But Marc Antony now...marries Octavia of Roman nobility.
Plots, Plans and Grand Dreams and Schemes smoulder
Alliances, Pacts and Treaties consume both of them
Marc Antony finally returns, and marries his Egyptian Queen
Rome is now totally incensed and prepares for battle against them.
Cleopatra quickly raises her allies to fight with Antony
She wanted the battle fought on the sea....not the land
She wins this strategy and dooms it all by her decision
The Battle of Actium is a total Disaster for both of them.
Defeated, Cleopatra sails away to Egypt...Antony follows her.
He sulks and broods over this humiliating battle
Octavian his Mortal enemy, brother of Octavia marchs on Alexandria
Where Cleopatra is taken his prisoner and also her children.
Antony hearing she is dead, impetously attempts suicide
Cleopatra learning of his fate has him brought to her
He is carried, dying....into her Elaborate Tomb
Cradled in her loving arms he at last, ignominiously dies.
Octavian wished to bring her to Rome in Golden Chains
She will deny him this Pleasure and has a Grand Plan of her own
A serpent in a basket of luscious figs is smuggled into her tomb
She now prepares for her Glorious Death and entrance into Eternity.
Dressed by handmaidens in Golden Garments...she was Ready
Reaching into the basket she drew forth the deadly snake
Death is swift and final and she welcomed it...afterall....SHE is ISIS
She will live on in the "Afterlife" with her Beloved Antony.
All her children are murdered by Octavian, her Treasury looted
So vast was her fortune that it caused the interest rate in
Rome to drop for years as her Beloved Egypt falls into Roman hands
The Glory of Egypt now faded...as Cleopatra passes into History.
But of all the Women to ever rule, she is most Remembered
Queen Cleopatera VII lives on to remind us of many things
Women...are NOT the
